it was hot today!!! but it was a great day as well. I got my hair blown out at the hairdresser because I'm taking my senior pictures tomorrow!!! I'm kind of excited but also worried that the pictures won't look very good because I look weird. I also walked to the grocery store and back and ate delicious grapes and drank iced mint tea. what a good way to spend one of the last days of summer! (
I found this dress at target like 2 weeks ago! it was a pleasant surprise to see them selling more ~spooky teen witch vibe~ dresses and stuff. i really dig it.
on a different note, I've been feeling really insecure about my appearance lately :/ I'm so self conscious about my nose, and my posture, and my legs, and my arms, and my face. I just feel so ugly and weird looking and awkward and tall and stupid all the time and I have no idea why. I used to be pretty confident about how I looked, I suppose because I never really analyzed my body until recently. I don't know. I'm stuck with the way I look forever so I might as well just accept it.
A N Y W A Y,,,,,,,,, I also did a l'il crafting this week!!!!! I made these awesome brooches using this tutorial from rookie!!! it was so fun and I love badges so it was a win-win situation.

so yeah, basically the week before school starts has been oddly numb and quiet. I haven't seen any friends recently and i've been spending a lot of time reading and watching netflix. I guess I'm reveling in the remaining freedom I have before Monday. it's been a long and great summer and while I'm TOTALLY NOT READY FOR SCHOOL TO START, I'm also okay with it because I've had a lot of fun and a lot of sleep and a lot of relaxation. and I'm PUMPED FOR SENIOR YEAR CLASS OF 2014 WOOOOOOOO (just kidding) (I hate schooL)
